Welcome to the Shearing Shed! We are so excited and privileged to be entrusted with your child's first year of schooling at Fraser Primary School. Kindergarten is an amazing journey which we will be sharing with you and your family through this blog. We believe that learning is a partnership between home and school and we look forward to working with you to assist your child to reach their full potential.
What a great start! We do live in a digital era and I find fascinating the idea of involving children and teach them how to use all these digital gadgets, apps and devices in order to expand their learning. Blogging is a great tool - my 5 year old loved seeing the posts and it helped us re-connect. She has remembered things she did during school and I also got an insight into daily activities.
ReplyDeleteDouble win! It also prevents the typical after school conversations "How was school today"? "OK". "What did you do"? "I don't know. I cannot remember". I do realise that maintaining a blog involves more work for you, the lovely teachers in the Shearing Shed and for this I am very grateful. Thank you.
